To commemorate the first Reebok ‘Fit Hub’ store in Goa, Reebok officially opened its doors for the city’s fitness enthusiasts with a power packed launch event inaugurated by Femina Miss India 2014 Koyal Rana along with Dave Thomas, MD, Reebok and adidas India, and Somdeb Basu, Brand Director, Reebok India. Sporting fashionable and chic attire from Reebok’s studio collection, Koyal Rana got into her fitness mode and showcased some challenging Dance fitness moves at the launch.
Dave Thomas, MD, Reebok India and adidas India said, “It gives us immense pleasure to launch Goa’s first Fit Hub store, and empower our customers to embark on their fitness journey. With our Fit Hub concept, we aim to provide a one-stop fitness destination, thereby truly spreading the message of fitness and encouraging people to be ‘Fit for Life’. We are hoping to receive a great response from fitness enthusiasts of Goa, and aim to introduce more stores by end of 2015.”
Speaking at the launch Somdeb Basu, brand director Reebok India said “There is a high demand for our technical fitness gear in Goa, and we are thrilled to establish ourselves as the go-to fitness brand in the city, by providing consumers a holistic solution for all their fitness needs. To connect with our consumers in Goa at various touch points, we activated our marketing campaign including outdoor advertisements, and power-packed launch event with Koyal Rana. We are also connecting with fitness communities of goa and exploring partnerships with them to strengthen Reebok’s fitness proposition. We hope to reach out to more and more Goans, and motivate them to be ‘Fit for Life’.”
Each store is designed to give a look and feel of a gym with fixtures that replicate gym equipment such as pull up grids, genuine gym flooring and jump boxes as seating, providing customers a one-of-a-kind retail fitness experience. The stores also have clearly demarcated merchandise sections for different fitness activities such as training, running, and aerobics, dance and yoga which creates an easy shopping experience.
