At 7 am Vikas sips his tea while reading the newspapers as his wife takes care of the kids. He has no breakfast as such but does eat seven soaked almonds which helps increase good cholestrol and sustain until lunch. Lunch is salads.
On an easy day, Vikas prefers to relax at home and spend time with his 11 year-old son who is braving autism. Technically in a hotel industry it is difficult to get an off but whenever he gets time he prefers to take his family out to various restaurants for a dine out. Beach visits are very rare.
He recalls how his family enjoyed driving from Bangaluru to Goa in September 2014. “Those days I had no idea that Hard Rock Hotel was coming up in Goa and I would be stationed here in Goa for work,” added Vikas Sharma.
The detection of autism in his son changed Vikas’s life altogether. His patience level increased dramatically and bent towards religious belief multiplied manyfold and changed the outolook towards society. For him Goa always gives him the feeling that people here are much more `humane’ than elsewhere in the country.
