While Goa in tune with Vibrant Gujarat, awaits to host one of its biggest events on business the Vibrant Goa during October 17-19 this year, the workforce engaged in collating all the ingredients for it are out in the field. International road shows have already begun to muster at least 250 foreign delegates.
According to the president of Vibrant Goa Foundation Raj Kumar Kamat who extensively toured North America and Canada recently said “enthusiasm and response to our road shows have gone well past our expectation. We would not be surprised we receive over 400 foreign delegates from all over the world in a total participation of nearly thousand delegates.”
During the three-week tour, the highlight was a signing of Memorandum of Understanding between British Columbia and Vibrant Goa to set up desk in respective cities to help engage people interested in business. Many businessmen have already travelled to Goa as a reckie in prelude to the main event in October this year. In a further encouraging move, Goa-based Pranav Aggarwal the director of Balashree Foods Pvt who was a part of a four-member delegate travelling from Goa to North America and Canada has already started business and have received order for two consignments of rice for export from India.
Suyash Nadkarni, director and owner of A&S Hidden Treasures Inc which produces Big Boss Cashew Fenny said, “We are excited about the Vibrant Goa event. I think it is a very good platform to integrate businesses in Vancouver and Goa. It will also give a great opportunity for businesses to share their knowledge and skills with each other. We, at A&S, are already importing Goa’s favourite drink Feni to Vancouver, British Columbia and will be looking into more food products that may prove profitable in the international market.”
Tech company which has Goan roots, Tangentia’s CEO, Vijay Thomas said, “We are very excited about Vibrant Goa and enthusiastically participated in the roadshow in Canada as well. Tangentia will be pitching that we are a global technology MNC with a Goan heart and a lot of investments in Goa and we would like to get new business to Goa and also we would like to explore the Indian market from our base in Goa. We expect to get many new customers, new partners and enhanced goodwill and brand recognition in our hometown of Goa.”
Yet another tech company Rely Services Inc which offers services like BPO, KPO and IT solutions is also very keen on the Vibrant Goa show. President and CEO of Rely Services Inc, Neil Khot said, “I am truly excited to see Goa on a global map competing with other states for world-class business. Equally proud development and improvement of infrastructure, logistics and services skill set. Lastly, Government of Goa being innovative with its support for new businesses, offering incentives and streamlining of documentation window will be a game changer. We will be pitching for BPO KPO and IT Services during the event in October. Vibrant Goa was first of its kind of roadshow of Goa where we were able to connect with directly with the information and decision makers for Goa. We were very proud and honored to have Vibrant Goa visit Chicago and North America.”

The Vibrant Goa roadshows in USA & Canada received extremely positive response. Host Partner organisations in each of the six cities, Goan associations & Consulate Of India in these countries organised large gathering of business community from across all industry, education & services verticals.

The expo which will also have a knowledge summits along with about 200 stalls is being organised at Shyama Prasad Mukherjee indoor by the Vibrant Goa Foundation which was formed in December last year in partnership with the Business Networking International (BNI) and Global Network supported by the Government of Goa.
