PANJIM: Thrift Co-operative Association Ltd Goa in collaboration with Goa State Co-Op Bank Ltd, Panjim, will conduct a workshop on ‘Income Tax for Co-operative Credit Societies’ for salary earners, co-operative credit societies and urban co-operative credit societies in the State at Goa State Co-Op Bank, head Patto Plaza, Panjim, on February 15 from 10 am to 2 pm.
The workshop will discuss exemption under Section 80 (p) 2 of Income Tax, TDS on interest payment, income tax for providing services and other taxes liable to be paid by co-op credit societies, etc.
Chartered accountants and experts invited to address the meet include Subramanyam Hegde from Ankola, Shridhar P Bhat from Goa and Mr Shenoy will the resource persons.
