As a part of Bharat ka Amrut Mahotsav- 75 hours of Community Service, a ‘Free Breast Cancer Screening Camp’ was organised in coordination with the Village Panchayat(V.P) of Agassaimby 2 faculties of M.E.S College of Arts & Commerce Zuarinagar Goa,namely, Dr. Sancheliana Faria, Associate Professor , Coordinator of the camp and Swati A. Shigaonker, Assistant Professor, Team Member of the camp in collaboration with Yuvraj Singh Foundation (You We Can Foundation), ‘Swasth Mahila, Swasth Goa’. The camp was held in Shirish Lawande Hall, Malwara Agassaim on March 27. A total 61 local women of Village Panchayat Agassaim came for the check up and took advantage of the camp. The camp was conducted by the cluster coordinators of Yuvraj Singh Foundation, Dr. Shruti Gaonkar, Kajal Naik and Rinki Kumari. Xavier Gracias, Sarpanch of VP Agassaim presided over the function and formally inaugurated the camp by lighting the traditional lamp.
