Scores of devotes converged at Goa Velha to be part of the Penitential procession of saints. The entire event was conducted under the guidance of Fr Emedio Pinto, parish priest of Goa Velha. Around 31 life like statues of saints were taken out in a procession after the mass. The statues of saints will be kept at St Andrews’s Church for veneration till April 6.
