Good view and even better food!

Situated off the little Orzan beach road, atop the Vagator cliff, locating this place may
prove is a slight challenge, but keep moving further up the dirt road and soon
you will hit the big signboard that reads The Beach House.

One step into the restaurant and you will
be immediately enchanted with the mesmerising view of the palm trees swaying in
a gentle breeze and the Orzan beach at a distance, bustling with the sea
lovers.

The Beach House has both indoor and outdoor
seating and typically gives you vibes of a laidback afternoon stretching to a
sundowner kind of a feeling. It’s a place from where you wouldn’t want to budge
so quickly. With enough options shaken up behind the bar to leave you in high
spirits, it’s a perfect hangout place for chilling with family or friends.

The menu has a mix of Mexican, European,
Continental and Asian dishes. We were particularly curious about the European
Tapas section and tried Mushroom Croquettes and Chili Basil Prawns from the
section. The mushroom croquettes were super delicious and definitely worth a
try. With a crispy outer covering and creamy soft inside, it’s a delicate dish
that has subtle flavours. However, the Chili Basil Prawns were disappointing;
they had practically no flavours at all, neither chili nor basil; it was a
bland preparation and hence avoidable.

Cajun Chicken, Fish Harrisa and Chicken
Nuggets on the other hand make for a good choice for starters. The first two
were both delectable and the chicken nuggets were more like a crispy fried
chicken and very different from our imagination of chicken nuggets.

For the main course, we settled for Thai Green Fish Curry and
Chicken in Mushroom Sauce with some steamed rice and both these dishes were
really good and can be considered for sure.

Ask for their house special cocktails and we are sure that the
bartender at The Beach House will do full justice to your needs and shake up
beautiful cocktails and mocktails for you.

So
it’s a kind of place where you go, grab your favourite drink, order in a couple
of starters and just sit back, relax and enjoy the food and view. If you
haven’t been there yet, it should surely be on your list.
