Train cancelled
PANJIM: South Eastern Railway (SER) cancelled Train No 18047 Howrah-Vasco-Da-Gama Amaravathi Express, which was scheduled to leave Howrah at 11.30 pm on October 31. As a result, due to non-availability of pairing train, Train No 18048 Vasco-da-Gama-Howrah Amaravathi Express scheduled to depart Vasco-da-Gama station at 7.10 am on Sunday, November 3 is cancelled as well.
400 years of Merces Parish
PANJIM: The Parishioners of Our Lady of Merces, Merces, are celebrating 400 years of its existence. The Novenas began on November 1, with Rosary at 5.45 pm followed by Mass and preaching of the Word at 6.15 pm. Feast of Our Lady of Merces will be celebrated on November 10, with masses at 6.15 am, 7.45 am, 9.30 am and 12 noon. Each day, there will be a cultural programme after the Novena.
Winter camp at Margao
PANJIM: Samrat Sports Club Margao will organize a grand winter camp for children entitled ‘Ignite Minds’ at Junta Quarters Cultural Club near BPS Club Margao starting on November 4 to November 10 from 8.30 am to 12.30 pm.
