Zomato Founder’s Brain-Tracking Device Shrinks by 50% Ahead of Commercial Release

Deepinder Goyal’s brain-tracking wearable, Temple, has undergone a major redesign ahead of its commercial debut. Now less than half its original size, the device is touted as the smallest wearable by volume while delivering enhanced performance. Pre-orders for a limited launch edition are set to open soon, with official shipping slated to begin before the end of 2026.

Deepinder Goyal, co-founder of Zomato and Eternal, is transitioning his experimental brain-tracking gadget, Temple, into a consumer product. The latest iteration of the forehead-mounted wearable has been engineered down to less than half the volume of its initial prototype, making it the smallest wearable device currently on the market while simultaneously boosting its processing capability.

The device first captured public interest when Goyal wore a compact metallic prototype clipped to his forehead during an appearance on Raj Shamani’s Figuring Out podcast. Since its initial debut, the health-tech device has been spotted in field testing on elite athletes, including badminton star PV Sindhu.
