With regards to Goa Chief Minister’s reported comment “Why only in South? North Goa doesn’t have a right to have airport?” I can’t believe this statement from the Chief Minister.
Can the CM please note that if one actually draw a line at North/South equidistant on the Goa map, it can be seen that the existing Dabolim airport actually falls in North Goa. So I think Manohar Parrikar should not pursue the second Airport in North Goa! Which then according to CM’s absurd logic. Doesn’t South Goa have a right to have an airport?
Clearly this is hypocrisy of his so called false respect for Late Mathany Saldanha, who was clearly against the Mopa airport. Alina Saldanha must resign immediately from the Goa Government else she will be hand in glove with the Chief Minister, who is clearly going against the wishes of her late husband.
