Strict vigil on Mickky

Former Goa minister and MLA Mickky Pacheco presently undergoing six months imprisonment at Sada sub-jail for slapping Junior Engineer Kapil Natekar in 2006 has been trying every possible way and means to get out of the jail.
In the beginning he applied for seeking 30 days parole in order to attend to his ailing mother. Since this notion proved futile, Mickky filed a petition seeking pardon from the Governor. Necessary decision in this regard will be delivered shortly.
Having found unsuccessful in his attempts to get out of the jail, Mickky must have been frustrated to a great extent. By now he must be totally bored amidst the walls of Sada Jail. Under such circumstances there is every possibility of him taking a drastic step of committing suicide inside the jail sooner or later. Chances of him trying to escape from the jail premises can also be ruled out.
It would therefore be appropriate for the court to issue necessary instructions to the Sada Jail authorities to exercise a strict vigil over the moments of Mickky at this jail for 24 hours. He needs to complete his sentence for six months in prison with no patronage of any sort, political or otherwise. I hope the court would instruct the Sada jail authorities accordingly.
