I was surprised to read that the car taken by the burglars after the Davorlim dacoity was found abandoned in Margao itself. When the crime was reported to the police, they should have immediately issued a lookout for the car and especially since the car was left at the SGPDA market which has a lot of activity at that time, it should have been noticed.
I hope that the police are aware that since it is a brand new car it has a chip in it, with the help of which it can be tracked by the manufacturer. This chip is there in all new cars sold this year. Definitely the burglars must have unloaded the stolen items at their place, so the police can contact the car company & see where the car has been since it left the house that morning. There is technology available to solve this crime, hope the concerned people make proper use of it.
