No praise is too high for the government of India and Air India for the wonderful job carried out to pull out Indians trapped amid fighting in war ravaged Yemen. The 670 Indians evacuated on Sunday was certainly a Herculean effort and is by far the “largest” evacuation in a day from there. With rescue operations continuing on a war footing it is hoped that all evacuees will be back in India soon. The success of Operation ‘Raahat’ should bring much cheer to the anxious families of those rescued from Yemen.
