This has reference to the recent agitation by both – MRS and BBMS for Marathi and against the grant to English Medium School. This is nothing but a ploy for communalism. You hate the minority community and you want to get rid of them by devious means and it is a fact you all people do not know to live in harmony. We lived for 450 years in harmony, Christian, Muslims and Hindus without any differences and without any hate. We all fought equally for Independence and got it. The Indian State was declared Secular State and Constitution was laid down for us all to follow it. Now with BJP in power, they do not honor the constitution and are Dictators who do what they want. It seems BJP is ignorant of constitution and what it is about or they must be doing purposely to undermine the people so that they put the public under their thumb.
Before making claim for Marathi language to Goa please note Goa is a full -fledged State and recognized by the Central Government and Konkani has been declared as State Language. Besides, all Indian States are established on linguistic /languages basis and so Goa is one of them. Marathi is the official language of Maharashtra so why do you want to bring Marathi in Goa.
Secondly, show me in which state two languages are used in the administration. You all are making children cry to get your revenge to success. You also want to bar English Medium Schools grants because they are Christian schools and poor minority children are taking advantage of it. You and your children only study English in high standard schools and others in local language. Thirdly I want to inform you that please note that State Administration is run by English language so also All India Administration is done by English medium so why this fight.
Learn to live in peace and strive hard for the development of Goa and whole of India. Hate and grudge will only destroy the peace of people and whole community. I want to express the fact that soon after independence, we faced Hindu-Muslim fight where so many lives were lost. Do we want such an incident to raise its ugly face once again? At present we are facing terrorists attack and let us join our hands to fight them and let us be world power to face the world.
