Change in portfolio

This is with reference to our honorable CM Laxmikant Parsekar’s comment as stated by Alina Saldanha that her environment and forest portfolio was been taken away as BJP workers, colleagues and MLAs were unhappy with her as she did not listen to them. And as rightly stated by Mrs Saldanha that if a portfolio is allotted and then withdrawn, the concerned individual must know what is lacking in her or him with respect to the portfolio.
Respected and honorable CM, may I ask you to justify to the public the reason for this change or are you too the slave of the High Command like the earlier Congress government. Remember that your party was voted by the Goans to safeguard our state. So do what is good for Goa and the people of Goa. Mrs Saldanha has clarified that some projects could not be passed as they were contrary to the law and the honorable CM agreed that development cannot be at the cost of the nature. Then what could be the reason. Please listen to that celestial fire called conscience and not to the dictates of the High Command. Prove to the world that men of straw are not ruling Goa as stated by Sir Winston Churchill. We have to save our greenery for the future generation.
Our own great leader Francisco Luis Gomes lamented under the foreign rule “Here she lies chained in her own country, exhausted of all her fecundity…….Beating itself against the walls of its own cage this bird has lost its wings ……this nightingale has forgotten its song the melody of which mounted to the heavens I demand liberty and light .” Are we still chained under the rule of the High Command. Now time has come for us to demand liberty from our own Goan self-centered politicians.
Let me end with a quote by our freedom fighter the late Fanchu Loyola “A nation without greenery is like a sky without a star. A man in that environment unaware of the beauty of flowers develops a intellect void of imagination, becoming a conceited fellow and a man without kindness”. Respected CM do you want to give this to our future generation. God save our Goa.
