“In a democracy the people get a government they deserve”. I wonder why we, the people of Goa deserved such a government and Chief Minister!
The state is in a mess. The roads have turned bad and we see hardly any road works going on, even though the season has started. In fact, practically no road repairs have taken place for over 12 months, except for roads done from Zilla Panchayat funds.
The people in the government seem to be a pack of fools, making silly statements, speaking out of turn, focusing on unnecessary issues, leaving out the main issues, making promises that are never fulfilled. Oh! And now he says Goa is not in need of central funds, even though our roads are in an utter mess after many years. If Goa doesn’t need central funds, is he just hoarding the funds and not using them?
The CM doesn’t seem to have any direction, going on aimlessly. Instead of taking to task the ones who raped the State and put it into great losses, he now seems to be hand in glove with them. Instead of standing by and supporting the NGO which does so much to save the State and its resources and finances, the CM chooses to turn his guns on the same NGO that the BJP was so close to and which they used to his benefit.
The Chief Minister seems to be losing his balance to go to the extent of harassing an NGO which is doing things legally through the courts. Why doesn’t he go after so many who are involved in illegal activities? The illegal guys, on the contrary, seem to be protected. Let him check the assets of his own MLAs to verify how much is illegal. It is time for us, the people of Goa to awake and realize that we neither deserve nor want this type of governance.
