Despite India developing at a rapid pace, there are several remote areas in States like Gujarat, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh etc where life exists but remains cut off from the mainland.
Most of these are tribals and do not know to what caste, creed or religion they belong to. They have no homes and the language they speak is only known to them. They almost live like animals and depend on hunting for their livelihood.
Nobody cares for their upliftment. It is only the Christian missionaries who by sacrificing everything, live with them and teach them how to live like human beings.
These tribals imitate the missionaries and learn from them ways of life. They also learn prayers and how to worship God. Finally, these tribals build huts as churches in which these Christian missionaries pray with them. Since the missionary is a Christian he will surely teach them his own religion and not any other which he does not understand. And, one cannot say that the missionaries are converting these tribals as they (tribals) did not practice any religion before that.
However, this does not happen in a few days or months. It takes years. Some missionaries even sacrifice their lives due to unknown diseases.
Instead of praising the Christian missionaries for their work, the RSS, VHP, Bajrang Dal, Ram Sene and others show hatred and spit venom. They do not have the courage to send their own men, followers or disciples to these remote areas in India to do what our Christian missionaries are doing and teach them Hinduism but instead they educate their children in schools run by Christians.
If Bhagwats, Sadhvis, Togadias and Muthaliks have no guts to practice what Christian missionaries are doing and spread Hinduism the way they do, what ghar wapsi are they talking about? They are indeed practicing politics of hatred.
The latest attack is on Mother Teresa. These fanatics say she built homes for destitute, lepers, abandoned babies and the dying — which she personally picked up from gutters — with the only intention to convert them. By these utterances, it only goes on to show their ignorance. They don’t have the courage to do what Mother Teresa has done for the upliftment of the poor for which she was even awarded the Nobel Peace Prize and the Bharat Ratna.
Christians in India should rise and be alert to what is happening in the country against Christians. Candle light protests are not enough.
