Parsekar’s mistake in Margao

Chief Minister Laxmikant Parsekar recently made diabolic and absurd statements in Margao. “He states some people are born due to a mistake committed by God who has given us hands legs and other parts of the body to lead a normal life but God has forgotten to give these parts of the body to many children. This negligence on the part of God has made many a child to suffer throughout his life”. May I ask who is our Hon’ble CM to judge and make such statements. Being a Constitutional authority he can make statements within the Constitutional parameters. He cannot talk on providential parameters. By making such statements he has offended many people who are born with congenital defects and are unable to lead a normal life and are silently suffering for years. His intention appears he wanted to praise the NGOs while in reality he has hurt many people.
He seems to forget that he has used these words “I will do right to all manner of people in accordance with the constitution and the law without fear or fervour, affection or ill will” very recently at the time of taking oath as a Chief Minister of the state of Goa. With such statements he has brought himself on par with the powers of the Providence. He goes on to say “what God could not do the NGOs are doing.
Our Hon’ble CM should tender an apology for his absurd statements to all the people who are born with congenital defects and who are silently suffering. I would like to compliment the DRAG chief Avelino D’Sa for his bold and sensible reply “disabled people have more strength and will power and they are differently abled, hence they are stronger than the normal people”.
