Only a fool would think that “Jihad” against ISIS recently taken up by the west is about bringing ‘stability’ in Iraq & Syria.
Consider this. The USA and allied are currently waging a war of terror (they call it a war on terror). To keep that war going they need an enemy that the public can never sympathize with and never understand.
The enemy must be a Muslim, because that is who the war on terror is being fought against – and as long as the Governments in the West, rather CIA and its propaganda machine, can convince people that these people are savages and are not worthy of living, and make them so scared that people want action – then their war of terror is safe from public censure.
ISIS, a small local gang of misfits hoping to attract attention through gory and barbarism, is so fanatical that no human being on earth can ever comprehend their fanatical barbarity. They have emerged out of the blue and seemed to have no goal at all except to kidnap and kill people.
The CIA advertised the scenario. They jumped onto a legitimate campaign and hijacked it. Now the narrative of poor journalists/aid workers being kidnapped and beheaded becomes a narrative about fanatical backward Muslim terrorists that hated humanity, for their barbaric religion. The exact freedom-hating Muslim stereotype the West had been telling their public, they were at war with. The propagandists went into overdrive – the wall to wall news coverage with subliminal ‘Islamist extremist’ headlines along with ‘latest released videos’ went global.
Are we wrong? – Perhaps they are legitimately concerned about the welfare of human beings? If so, then show us the picture of any Western politician or celebrity denouncing ethnic cleansing of the black Muslims in the Central African Republic- or the Muslims in Burma killed by Burmese Buddhists! Or the Palestinian children killed or kidnapped and rotting in Israeli jails by Jewish Zionists that USA funds!
That never happens; no one holds a placard for them. Because there is no political mileage in that – that might make the Muslim the victims and that would undermine the war of terror – undermine their propaganda narrative. So those Muslim boys and girls kidnapped from Palestine to Pakistan and taken to American secret prisons around the world (around 3000 are missing) – No one asked for them to come back – they could stay in the hell they found themselves in.
So we Muslims reject the campaign of propaganda. We are for the journalists or any innocent people who are kidnapped, we are against this fanatical group called ISIS but we won’t let this be hijacked by political elites and their propaganda machinery by staying silent about what is really happening.
