Commercial LPG prices have surged sharply across India, marking the third consecutive monthly hike amid rising global energy costs linked to the West Asia conflict. Oil marketing companies revised rates in line with international benchmarks, significantly increasing the cost of 19-kg cylinders widely used by hotels and restaurants.
In Goa, the impact has also been felt, with commercial LPG prices now standing at ₹3,149, reflecting a sharp increase of around ₹998 in the latest revision. The steep hike is expected to put additional pressure on the hospitality sector, including hotels and eateries.
