The Indian Air Force has undertaken a nationwide mission to transport NEET-UG 2026 question papers, flying more than 200 sorties in just four days ahead of the June 21 re-examination.
The operation was launched after the National Testing Agency cancelled the original exam following allegations that the question paper had been compromised.

Air Force transport aircraft and helicopters have been deployed to deliver examination material securely to centres across India, with additional support from Army helicopters in certain locations.
The National Testing Agency has also tightened security measures, including enhanced digital monitoring, to prevent misinformation and malpractice. The mission is among the most extensive security exercises undertaken for a national examination in India.
The government says the move is aimed at preventing any possibility of tampering and ensuring timely delivery. The re-examination will be attended by more than 2.2 million candidates, making it one of the largest and most closely monitored examinations in the country.
