Abhay Singh, popularly known as ‘IIT Baba,’ lodged a police complaint asserting that a group of individuals dressed in saffron invaded the newsroom, behaved inappropriately, and assaulted him with sticks. This incident reportedly occurred during a news debate on a private channel in Noida, following his rise to prominence during the recently concluded Maha Kumbh 2025 in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. In his complaint, Singh detailed that the group not only misbehaved but also physically attacked him. Subsequently, he organized a protest outside the police outpost in Sector 126. However, he later decided to retract his protest after discussions with the police. Bhupendra Singh, the station house officer of Sector 126, confirmed that he had persuaded Singh to refrain from pursuing a formal complaint.
