PM MODI WINDS DOWN BENGAL RALLY BLITZ WITH STREET-SIDE JHALMURI STOP, SHARES MOMENT WITH LOCALS

After completing an intense schedule of four back-to-back rallies across Purulia, Jhargram, Medinipur and Bishnupur, Prime Minister Narendra Modi was seen taking a brief, lighter break on Saturday evening, stopping at a local street-side shop to enjoy West Bengal’s popular snack, jhalmuri.

The Prime Minister’s impromptu halt quickly drew attention as he interacted briefly with people gathered around the small eatery. In a warm and informal moment, he was also seen distributing portions of the traditional puffed rice mixture to locals present at the spot, turning the area into a lively and crowded gathering within minutes.

The modest shop, stocked with an assortment of namkeens, mixture packets, and containers filled with “muri” (puffed rice), witnessed an unexpected surge of visitors following the Prime Minister’s arrival. Locals and supporters gathered in large numbers, trying to catch a glimpse of the leader during his brief stopover.

Modi was dressed in his signature attire, a white kurta paired with a dark blue pinstriped waistcoat and a bright red scarf featuring the white BJP lotus symbol embroidered on it. The informal interaction stood in contrast to his packed political schedule earlier in the day.

The visit added a lighter moment to an otherwise high-energy campaign trail in West Bengal, with visuals of the stop quickly drawing attention as crowds continued to swell around the small shop during his brief presence.
