A Class 12 student was allegedly kidnapped and brutally assaulted in Rajasthan’s Barmer district when he arrived to appear for his board examination. According to police, four men abducted the minor from outside the school premises, forced him into a Bolero vehicle and drove him away before assaulting him and abandoning him injured by the roadside.
Passersby later noticed the injured student and alerted the police. A team reached the spot promptly and shifted him to a nearby hospital for primary treatment. Doctors subsequently referred him to the Medical College Hospital in Barmer, where he remains under medical care.

A video of the alleged kidnapping from the school premises has also surfaced. Exam centre superintendent Bhanwarlal Mayla said staff members tried to intervene but could not stop the attackers. Bijrad SHO Vishnaram confirmed that multiple police teams have been formed and a search operation is underway to trace the accused.
