The Supreme Court stated, “He claims that numerous employees are involved, which means that the livelihoods of several families are at stake. Provided that he upholds moral standards and decency, we can permit him to proceed with his program.” This statement came after Allahbadia made inappropriate comments during the ‘India’s Got Latent’ show. On February 18, the Supreme Court prohibited him from broadcasting any shows while also granting him temporary protection from arrest in light of several FIRs lodged by the police in Maharashtra, Rajasthan, and Assam.
