PANJIM: The Old Goa police, on Wednesday, arrested 10 persons for allegedly drinking and creating nuisance at public places. The arrests were part of the drive initiated by the Old Goa police against nuisance caused to tourists and locals visiting Old Goa.

The arrests were made at Ribandar, Khorlim, Old Goa and surrounding areas on Tuesday night and early Wednesday morning. All the accused were later released on personal bonds.
The police said that the drive against those creating nuisance at public places will continue as there were complaints against some youth riding two-wheelers and creating nuisance at tourist places and at the Old Goa Jetty.
