PONDA: Around 15 COVID positive cases were detected in Ponda since past two days which are linked to six employees working in a rubber factory in Ponda Taluka.
According to Kavlem Sarpanch Rajesh Kavlekar there were two employees tested COVID positive. Now five family members are found positive and are sent to COVID Care Centre Farmagudi. These include one-and-half year child.

Veling Priol Panchayat’s Panch Adv Varad Mardolkar said, “Around two COVID positive patients found are from rubber factory. Similarly, there were two employees of same factory found positive at Kundaim. Around four relatives of two employees residing at Mardol are also found positive.”
