PONDA: After a slow response for the first four days, the response for filing nominations in Ponda has gained momentum over the past two days.

So far, 510 nominations from 19 Panchayats across Ponda Taluka were filed until Saturday. From the five panchayats of Dharbandora taluka, 81 Nominations were filed till Saturday.
More nominations are expected to come in on July 25, which is the last date for the filing of nominations. Sunday is a holiday.
