PANJIM: On Monday 73 patients, who had been placed under quarantine, tested negative for COVID-19.
However, three new suspected patients have been admitted in the isolation ward of Goa Medical College and Hospital (GMC), while 34 contacts have been placed under government facility quarantine.
As per the bulletin issued by Directorate of Health Services (DHS), eight persons are in GMC isolation, including the three who were admitted on Saturday. There is one patient in the isolation ward of North Goa District Hospital.
Of the 121 samples sent for testing, reports of 76 came negative, while 46 test reports are awaited. All seven COVID-19 patients have recovered, while three have been discharged, four are in quarantine.
