A 75-year-old man, identified as Jamal, sustained serious injuries after being attacked with a stone by an unidentified person at Gausa Waddo, Mapusa. Locals immediately rushed him to the District Hospital, after which he was referred to Goa Medical College (GMC) for a CT scan.
The victim’s family has filed a police complaint, and an investigation is underway to identify and apprehend the attacker. Police are reviewing local leads and surveillance footage to track the suspect.
