PANJIM: Seven new COVID-19 suspect patients were admitted in the isolation ward of GMC on Saturday, while 98 quarantined patients tested negative for the deadly virus.
As per the bulletin issued by DHS, eight suspected patients are in the GMC isolation ward, including the seven who were admitted on Saturday. Also, there are two in the isolation ward of North Goa District Hospital. No person has been placed under home or facility quarantine.
Of the 140 samples sent for testing, reports of 98 were received negative, while 42 reports are awaited. Currently, the State has one active COVID case, while six have recovered.
