PANJIIM: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in Goa has condemned the demonetisation of currency and said that black money lying abroad has been ignored.
Addressing the media AAP secretary Prakash Naik said BJP is mocking the people lining up at banks and ATMs. “The speech of the Prime Minister in Goa was mere theatrics and devoid of any serious intent to embark on a correction of the financial chaos unleashed by his unplanned demonetisation,” he said.
AAP said citizens have been forced into a state of financial emergency, ‘helpless to even meet his or her daily needs to run the house’. “Modi had promised to bring back all the black wealth parked in offshore bank accounts and tax havens within 100 days of coming to office. Not one soul has been touched. On the contrary most of those named in the Panama Papers have or are cozying up to the Modi government,” AAP stated.
