AGONDA: The main pipeline at Agonda burst once again on Wednesday resulting in massive wastage of water.
After receiving information from the locals about the incident, the department concerned immediately repaired the pipeline. This is the fourth time the pipeline has been damaged with the locals demanding that the weak pipeline be replaced immediately.

“We are not only deprived of water due to the constant pipeline damage, we also received dirty water for sometime after the line was repaired,” claimed a local.
The villagers during the previous gram sabha had requested that the water tank be cleaned from time to time.
“For the past many years the water tank has been left unclean. The ministers keep talking about providing clean water but the ground reality is completely different,” claimed panchayat’s biodiversity management committee chairperson Shaba Naik Gaonkar.
