According to the police, the victim in her complaint lodged before Vasco police on Tuesday mentioned that, on April 18, 2015, the accused person namely Sunny George (28) native of Kerala, followed her till her house and he later entered the house of the complainant and committed rape.
“As per the victim’s complaint, on the given date, the accused person confined her in the house and threatened her at knife point. He also slapped the victim before rapping her,” police told.
The accused later had sexual intercourse with the victim on several occasions on the pretext of getting married to her however even after she delivered the baby some six months ago, he never marries her and cheated her by not fulfilling his promise.
A case under section 354 D, 342, 506-II, 323, 376, 417, 493 of IPC has been registered against the accused and PSI Suraj Kankonkar is investigating the case.
