The issue was proposed by Siddharth Sawant, while Ramdas Bhagat, who seconded the issue, brought to the notice of the gram sabha the significance of the development of the Amona Tarikade spot.
The issue was supported unanimously. A member, Khemu Sawant, stressed the need to seek co-operation from Union Tourism Minister Shripad Naik for swift action.
Sarpanch Manjusri Parab, Panchas Narayan Sinari, Vishal Sawant and Ujwalata Sawant were present for the meeting. BDO official Bhalchandra Birje was the observer for the gram sabha.
