PANJIM: Goa State Legislative Assembly on Tuesday passed the Goa Appropriation Bill, 2013 sanctioning a fund of Rs 12.51 crore.
Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar on Tuesday tabled the bill which seeks money from consolidated funds for the Public works department (PWD), police and electricity. The bill was passed by a voice vote on the floor of the House.
Of the total amount of Rs 12.51 crore, Rs 12.11 crore are approved for PWD, 36.85 lakh for police and 3.71 lakh for the electricity department.
