MARGAO: The Colva Civic and Consumer Forum on Sunday urged the Tourism department to first put its house in order before initiating action against shacks erected in private properties.

MARGAO: The Colva Civic and Consumer Forum on Sunday urged the Tourism department to first put its house in order before initiating action against shacks erected in private properties.
Forum Secretary Judith Almeida claimed on Sunday that there are structures located on the Tourism department property in Colva, adding that the department should first clean up its house before initiating action against others.
She further said that a restaurant is standing on a sand dune in Colva, lamenting that despite complaints to the Tourism department, the restaurant still stands tall.
