PANJIM: The Goa State Biodiversity Board has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Dnyanprassarak Mandal’s College and Research Centre (DMC) to create scientific awareness about biodiversity. The college will also assist the Board to conduct various awareness drives for protection and conservation of environment and biodiversity.
“Collaboration will help the students for training, Internship and Research with Board. The main objective of the collaboration is to create scientific awareness about various initiatives of the Goa State Biodiversity Board among the people of Goa, to organise State, National and International Seminars and Conferences linking Higher Education to the needs of Community,” reads a press statement.
The initiative will also help the faculty members for collaborative research on various environmental problems.
