VASCO: Drishti lifeguards rescued around 14 fishermen after a boat capsized off Velsao Beach on Friday night.
According to sources, on Friday night, a Drishti lifeguard, who received information about the boat capsizing off Velsao Beach, contacted his colleagues. Around 25 lifeguards launched a search operation at Velsao Beach at night. After hour-long search operation, the lifeguards rescued 14 fishermen and brought them to the shore. A fisherman who was injured in the incident was referred to the nearest hospital.
Drishti lifeguard later expressed his gratitude to his colleagues who after receiving his phone call rushed to the Velsao Beach and rescued the fishermen.
