Boat show inaugurated

A three-day seventh annual Goa International Boat Show displaying a range of boating, water leisure and related marine accessories was inaugurated in the city.
Chief Minister Digambar Kamat flagged off the event. The organizers claim that mega exposition is timed to coincide with the peak buying season for the industry.
“The coming together of such a large gathering of high net-worth buyers, professionals and suppliers, itself creates a conducive environment for joint ventures and tie-ups with Goan companies,” one of the GIBS organizers Joseph Dias said.
The event expects to break into new markets and forge new alliances. This mega event is reportedly even older than the Mumbai Boat Show.
