PANJIM: The body of Suryakant Pophalkar, victim of the watersports boat capsixe tragedy on Christmas day at Calangute beach, was handed over to the relatives on Friday after the autopsy.

The Panjim Coastal Security police conducted the post-mortem examination of the body at the Goa Medical College and Hospital (GMC), Bambolim.
Meanwhile, the two minors, a girl aged six and a boy aged four were discharged from the paediatric ward of GMC. A woman who was admitted to the ICU of GMC was also discharged. However, the two aged couple have been reported to be out of danger but have been kept under observation in the Super-Specialty Block of GMC.
