The Executive Engineer, Works Division XV (NH), PWD Ponda-Goa, serving as Administrator for NH-566 between Farmagudi-Ponda and Verna IDC, has notified a complete closure of Borim Bridge plus a total heavy vehicle ban from 8pm Sunday, February 8, 2026, to 8am Monday. This 12-hour overnight shutdown enables Polymer Modified Bituminous (PMB) road works to facilitate uninterrupted repair and rehabilitation of the vital infrastructure.
