PONDA: A resident of Borim was feared drowned after he jumped into the Zuari River on Friday evening.
According to Ponda Police, the incident was reported to them at about 6.30 pm and body could not be traced till late in the evening. The fire personnel along with Ponda Police were monitoring the area till late night.
Locals claimed that the resident jumped off the water pipeline bridge, adjacent to Borim Bridge.
