Burglars steal lamps, bells from Sada temple

Burglars struck in the port town yet again and decamped with brass lamps and bells worth Rs 29,000 in broad daylight from the Khapreswar temple at Headland Sada.
According to Mormugao police, the burglars stole six lamps and four bells from the storeroom in the temple.
This is the second such incident when bells were stolen from the temple two years ago.
Mormugao police has registered an offence against unknown person and is investigating the case.
Barely a week ago, burglars had broken into two computer shops and had stolen 21 laptops worth a staggering Rs 10 lakh.
