Cabbies confident of solution to GoaMiles app by Wed

Taxi owners are confident the issue surrounding the Goa Miles app will be solved on Wednesday as the Chief Minister has agreed not to allow the app-based taxis to pick up guests from airport, railway stations and hotels.
All Goa Taxi Owners Association (AGTOA) president Chetan Kamat said, “Today we had a fruitful discussion and the CM and GTDC chairman Sopte are on our side now. We have confidence in the CM that in two days a solution will come that Goa Miles app has been scrapped. If that does not happen then we will not wait any further to agitate.”
Sunil Naik, president of All Goa Yellow-black Taxi Owners’ Association said, “The meeting was very fruitful and we are certain that all the 40 legislators will speak in favour of the taxi owners on Wednesday to protect Goem and Goenkarponn.”
