These members then met on June 3 to elect the president and other office bearers. There were two contenders to the post – Gajanand Kerkar and Padma Kumar Nair. Though Nair had the support of a majority of the elected members, in order to maintain unity, he volunteered to share the post and agreed to draw of lots to decide the post for the first year.
The lots were drawn in favour of Kerkar. The other members on the executive committee are Kumar Nair (vice-president), Fabiano de Souza (GS), Filipe Dias (asst secy), Bento D’Souza (treasurer), Ambrosio D’Souza (asst treasurer), Luis Gonsalves (ent secy), Marcelino Fernandes (sports secy), Sandeep Korgaokar (asst sports secy), Gajanand Salkar and Aliro Lobo as executive members.
