Canacona police has rounded up three youth from Sanguem in connection with a motorcycle theft in Canacona taluka.
While one youth is a resident of Valkini-Sanguem, the other two belong to Tisk-Sanguem.
All three youth were earlier arrested by Sanguem police in a motorcycle theft case and on interrogation, they revealed their involvement in a similar offence at Canacona.
Sanguem police had reportedly recovered two other motorcycles from the accused.
Police said the accused have been booked by Canacona police in the theft of a motorcycle at Bhatpal on January 11. They were produced before the Principal Magistrate, Juvenile Justice Board at Apna Ghar, Merces, and were later released.
In another incident, thieves stole a motorcycle from a house at Bhatpal. The stolen motorcycle was later traced in a thick vegetation of an internal road at Mokhardmoll, but without the two tyres and lights.
