Briefing media persons, Mayur Kamat of ‘Crazy Concepts’ said the main highlight of the event is the ‘Funky Selfi’ competition and the winner will be awarded with a smart phone, a stay at a five-star hotel and two gift coupons. “So far, we have received over 100 ‘funky selfi’ and hope to cross the 200 mark by Monday.”
“The entry will be closed by 9 pm and the best selfi photos will be displayed on the giant screen at the venue,” said Kamat.
Aldrin Viegas, one of the organisers, said the event will showcase topmost bands and DJs to keep the audience entertained. “Most of the events during Carnival are being held in North Goa and people from Vasco and nearby places are left without much Carnival programmes,” said Viegas.
“Though the main competition is funky selfi, we will also be giving out spot prizes for individuals and couples,” added Viegas.
Other members of ‘Crazy Concepts’ present were Johan Afonso and Mugdha Kamat.
