CURCHOREM: A couple had a lucky escape when their car turned turtle at Capxem in Sanvordem on Monday night.
The car owner, Anwar Shaikh of Sanvordem, who was at the accident site, informed Herald that he was driving the car and was proceeding from Shiroda to Sanvordem along with his wife at around 10 pm.
“As we reached Capxem, I could not see ahead due to heavy rain and my car hit a road divider and turned turtle,” said Shaikh. The couple however escaped unhurt.
