According to Cuncolim police, the incident occurred on Sunday night when the owner of the house Elizabeth Diniz and other family members had visited their family member who was admitted in a hospital. After returning home on Monday,
Elizabeth noticed that somebody had broken open the door. To her shock, she found the six cupboards broken open and cash, gold ornaments and other valuables stolen.
The owner was unable to enumerate the exact valuables robbed since all the family members were not at home and they could not tell what exactly was robbed.
Cuncolim Police are investigating this case.
